Event

We have booked the usual venue at the Packet Steamer, Netherton, Liverpool for this NINTH Reunion.

It is a casual event for ex-PSNC sea-going officers ie. Captains, Deck, Engine, Electrical and Radio Officers, Pursers and Chief and Second Stewards.

Naturally, spouses, partners - and to be politically correct - significant others - are welcome too.

No formal meal is arranged but Restaurant and Bar meals will be available.

We decided on two evenings to make it easier for people to manage one or other of the evenings or both if you come from a distance like our overseas friends or the Scottish and Irish contingents!

Friday evening is purely a get-together over a few pints but on Saturday night we arrange a short slide / movie show, so please bring along a dozen or more of your favourite slides to share or short videos . . . but nothing too embarrassing for those present, please!

Anne and I will be staying at the Travel Inn on both nights.   As in previous years some of us will spend part of Saturday at the Liverpool Maritime Museum and have a liquid/sandwich lunch at the Pump Room.   The ladies are welcome to come or to enjoy retail therapy or sightseeing.

Do book yourself in soon if you intend staying at the Packet Steamer - see below for 2007 tariff.   The management has agreed to hold 12 rooms (a mix of "smoking/non smoking") until the end of February 2007 so get your booking in!   There will be a 25% discount on normal room rates but you MUST explain "PSNC Reunion Discount applies" when booking.

It would be very helpful if you could let me know if you intend to join us and on which evening/s plus the name of spouse or partner if you are to be accompanied.
